How it all started...
THE CHURCH OF GOD has its beginning as as far back as the early 1900's, when by the direction of the Holy Spirit of God, our Heavenly Father moved upon a small group of men and women to search the Scriptures for Bible truths that would assist in their quest to Walk In The Light to the Best of their Knowledge and Ability. As they sought God for his divine direction in their lives, God as he always does when we seek him, moved upon a young Bible Salesman who had a great love for God and desire to share the gospel to come to the community and began to teach and preach the Word of God.
With a love for God and one another a unique bond came about resulting in Fellowship , Spiritual growth, and a Hunger to find the Church which Christ established. That Spiritual growth developed into what later became known to be THE CHURCH OF GOD. That humble bible salesman, through prayer and sincere searching of the Scriptures, found himself on his knees on the top of a mountain where God revealed to him that the CHURCH that had been hidden for so long would now ARISE and SHINE and let her GLORY be seen through all the world.
God chose to reveal the BIBLE CHURC as it is found within the pages of the Scriptures. It was from that humble beginning that the Church of God has continued to grow and reach the world with the gospel message.

Expanding the vision...
It is with this same vision in mind that we as THE CHURCH OF God at Royal have sought to keep alive the revelation of Jesus Christ as the Head of the Church.vWe believe that Christ purchased the Church and that his desire that all men might be saved.
Where we are headed...
We believe that the Church is commissioned by Jesus Christ to "Go into all the world" and "Preach" the gospel of Jesus Christ and to teach them to observe all things. We have been instructed to Baptize them in accordance to the Scripture and to raise up disciples that are followers of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to Teach, Preach, and Practice the Word God and to uphold all the Bible in a world that has been covered by darkness. Our purpose is to create an environment where the Spirit of God is free to move among us and the love of God can be expressed in word and in deed by those among us. We are striving to reach every man, woman, boy and girl, that has not yet come to experience the Love and Forgiveness of Jesus Christ. It is our desire to walk in fellowship with the believers and maintain the Bible Standards of BIBLE HOLINESS as it has been experienced by generations before us so that when Jesus Christ returns to get his children, we as his children will be raptured away to meet him in the air and spend eternity in the presence of the Lord.
